No Mercy for the 'Merseyside' !

GUNNER STUNNER! ARSHAVIN Seals the WINNER! Like I anticipated earlier.. Gunners did take advantage of the week where none of the premier league contenders won their home game. Chelsea dropped 2 points as they drew level with Everton & Man U lost all three points as Aston Villa earned their first ever victory at Old Trafford in 23 years. With so much going in favour for Arsenal it was the moment for the Gunners to make hay while the sun shined. With the home crowd behind, Liverpool started of brightly & with  Torres & Gerrard starting after a long gap there was hope for the Liverpool supporters & it soon became  more evident when Kuyt scored the opening goal & later finished the first half leading 1-0. A huge sigh of relief for the Gooners when Glen Johnson netted a own goal to make things level. Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas post match said a furious half-time outburst from Gunners manager Arsene Wenger inspired them to come from behind and beat Liverpool 2-1 & that started showing off as Arshavin continued haunting Anfield & by the 58th minute, Gunners were ahead.. courtesy a sublime strike strike by Arsenal ace Arshavin. Back in April, the previous season Arshavin had created history by striking 4 times but failed to snatch a victory inspite of such splendid performance as Liverpool leveled with Arsenal & the score at the full time showed 4-4. It was a turnaround this time as Arshavin again showed No Mercy for the 'Merseyside'! but his single strike was enough for the Gunners to seal the victory at Anfield. With a game in hand, we are  at the strongest position in the title race. Gunners all gunned up to burn down Burnley.Go GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!
